TR2086 Anti-Static Self-Leveling Topcoat

TR2086 Anti-Static Self-Leveling Topcoat

TR2086 is a two-component anti-static topcoat consisting
of components A and B. It is designed to reduce the generation
and accumulation of electrostatic charges and is mainly used
as an anti-static finish for floors, worktops and walls in
static-sensitive industries. Compared with TR2025, TR2086
is a high-build coating that allows a thicker film to be
applied in a single application.

Substrate Requirements

The substrate must be dry and free from moisture,
with a moisture content below 6%.

The substrate must be sound and solid, without hollow
areas, cracks, loose material or powdering.

The surface must be free from oil, grease and other
contaminants.

Recommended Application

1
Apply by trowel, brush or spray. Recommended material
consumption is approximately 0.8 kg/m² per coat.

Add the required amount of component B to component A
according to the specified mixing ratio and mix thoroughly
until uniform.

Application is recommended at temperatures above 10°C
and relative humidity below 80% RH.

Mixed material should be used as soon as possible.
Prolonged storage after mixing may increase viscosity
until the material cures and becomes unusable.

Clean all tools and equipment with an appropriate
organic solvent after finishing work each day.

TR2086B: 20 kg / pail
Store sealed in a cool, well-ventilated place
Shelf life: 6 months
Reseal immediately after opening
Material beyond shelf life should be tested before use

Health & Safety Precautions

Keep the working area clean and well ventilated.
Mechanical exhaust equipment should be installed
where necessary.

Wear protective gloves during application. Rubber gloves
over cotton gloves are recommended for additional protection.

Avoid direct contact with the body. If material contacts
the skin, remove it promptly with a cloth, then wash
thoroughly with soap and clean water. Seek medical attention
if an allergic reaction occurs. If material enters the eyes,
rinse with 0.9% sterile saline solution for at least
15 minutes and seek medical attention.

Spilled coating may be removed with a cloth or absorbed
with sand. Acetone or methyl ethyl ketone may be used
for cleaning, followed by washing with soap and clean water.

Once cured, the product is insoluble in water and organic
solvents. Waste disposal must comply with applicable
local environmental regulations.
