Commercial Complex Underground Parking Garage

This anti-slip epoxy flooring project for a commercial complex underground parking garage is located in Suzhou, Jiangsu, with a total installation area of approximately 18,500 m². The flooring is mainly applied to underground parking spaces, vehicle traffic lanes, entrance and exit ramps, turning areas and pedestrian walkways. These areas are exposed to frequent vehicle traffic, parking, turning and braking, requiring high levels of wear resistance, compressive strength, slip resistance and long-term durability. As underground parking garages are relatively enclosed spaces, the flooring also needs to provide effective dust control, easy cleaning and maintenance, as well as clear identification of different traffic zones. Therefore, overall surface flatness and functional zoning were also important requirements. An anti-slip epoxy mortar flooring system was installed throughout the project. Before installation, the existing concrete substrate was thoroughly inspected, followed by surface grinding, oil contamination removal, crack repair, local leveling and treatment of loose substrate areas to improve bonding stability between the base and the flooring system. During installation, the epoxy primer, epoxy mortar intermediate layer, anti-slip topcoat and traffic marking lines were applied in sequence. Particular attention was given to vehicle lanes, ramps, turning areas, drainage channels and parking space boundaries. The completed underground parking floor provides a smooth and uniform surface, with clearly defined vehicle lanes, parking spaces and pedestrian areas. It offers good wear resistance, compressive strength, slip resistance, dust control and easy cleaning, meeting the demands of high-frequency vehicle traffic and long-term operation in the commercial complex, while improving overall cleanliness and maintenance efficiency.
