This acrylic sports flooring project for the basketball court at Chengnan Experimental School is located in Wuhan, Hubei, with a total installation area of approximately 1,200 m². The flooring is mainly applied to the outdoor basketball court, surrounding buffer zones and sports activity areas, supporting daily physical education classes, basketball training, class competitions and extracurricular student activities. As the court is continuously exposed to outdoor conditions, it must withstand sunlight, rain, temperature fluctuations and frequent sports activities, requiring good slip resistance, wear resistance, weather resistance and color stability. An acrylic sports flooring system was installed throughout the project. Before installation, the existing substrate was thoroughly inspected, followed by surface cleaning, local grinding, crack repair and leveling treatment to improve bonding stability between the substrate and the sports flooring system. During installation, the leveling layer, textured layer, colored topcoat and basketball court markings were applied in sequence. Particular attention was given to coating uniformity, surface anti-slip texture, edge finishing and the dimensions of functional court markings. The completed court provides clear colors and a uniform surface, with good slip resistance, wear resistance and outdoor weather resistance. It meets the requirements of school physical education, daily training and extracurricular sports activities, while improving the overall appearance of the campus sports environment.
