High-Tech Zone Vocational & Technical School Basketball Court

This Silicon PU sports flooring project for the High-Tech Zone Vocational & Technical School basketball court is located in Dongguan, Guangdong, with a total installation area of approximately 850 m². The flooring is mainly applied to the outdoor campus basketball court, court-side buffer zones and sports activity areas, supporting physical education classes, basketball training, school competitions and extracurricular sports activities. As the court is continuously exposed to outdoor conditions, it must withstand sunlight, rain, temperature fluctuations and frequent wear caused by student activities. Therefore, the flooring requires good slip resistance, elasticity, wear resistance and outdoor weather resistance. A Silicon PU sports flooring system was installed throughout the project. Before installation, the existing concrete substrate was inspected, followed by surface cleaning, local grinding, crack repair, treatment of water-prone areas and overall flatness adjustment, providing a stable base for the sports flooring system. During installation, the primer, elastic layer, reinforced layer, colored topcoat and court markings were applied in sequence. Particular attention was given to system thickness, surface flatness, anti-slip texture, edge finishing and the dimensions of basketball court markings. The completed court has clear colors and a smooth, uniform surface, with good sports elasticity, slip resistance, wear resistance and outdoor weather resistance. It helps reduce impact during physical activity and meets the long-term requirements of school physical education, daily training and campus sports activities, while improving the overall campus sports environment.
